The American Library Association United for Libraries annual conference is virtual this August 17-19, making it easy and inexpensive for Maine library trustees and Friends to attend online. The link for program details is here https://www.ala.org/united/events_conferences/virtual .

To make it even better, the Maine State Library is offering scholarships for Maine library trustees and Friends to attend. This would cover the full cost of attending the virtual conference online.  If you would like to request a scholarship, submit this form https://form.jotform.com/212023971172145 by August 6. If you are approved, I will notify you and register you for the conference. No more than one trustee and one Friend from each library please.
