Libraries that are a part of the Maine School and Library Network - or
any library whose connections is subsidized by E-rate for their internet
connection - need to have an Internet Use and Safety Policy in place to
be in compliance with CIPA rules. Due to recent FCC changes, libraries
are advised to update their policies and be prepared to provide a copy
during the MSLN application review.

those who represent libraries in the MSLN network will receive training
