Hello All, Just a reminder to get your MPLF Grant application in by Friday, Oct. 29 at 5 PM https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=MSL . This is the same site where you applied for your ARPA Grants this summer. Once you login to your library's account, just click on the APPLY button at the top of the screen and then you should see the MPLF application form "Apply" button (on the right) to submit a request.

Your library is eligible to request an MPLF Grant if it has been at least two years since your last MPLF Program Grant. You can check your organization's Request History to find that out.

Note: If someone other than the person who submitted your library's ARPA Grant request is filling out the MPLF Grant application, do not have them create a new account. Either have them use the library's already established account or contact me to help link the accounts in the system.

This grant cycle we will give preference to DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) https://www.ala.org/advocacy/diversity/edi-our-libraries activities such as outreach programs to minorities, LGBTQ+, and other underserved or vulnerable groups, hosting community discussions on racism and social justice, or adding more diversity into children's and YS programming. Think about how your library can be more active in your community to foster understanding and inclusion of ALL residents.

To learn more about the MPLF Grants, go to https://www1.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/MPLF.shtml . Please contact me with any questions you might have about the grant and application process. Regards, Deb
