As you and your co-workers plan to re-open library services and facilities, remember to prepare to deal with the stress and uncertainty staff will experience coming back to in-library work. To help, the Maine State Library is partnering with Portland Public Library social worker Michelle Lamm, MSW to offer some guidance on self-care and supporting staff as they transition back to on-site work.
In the 1-hour Zoom program, Michelle will discuss and answer questions around:
Emotional Awareness
Creating Space for Staff Wellness
Practicing Good Self Care
Becoming More Mindful
No registration is necessary to attend one of two sessions offered:
Thursday, May 28, 2 PM Zoom link https://zoom.us/j/97984114219
Thursday, June 4, 2 PM Zoom link https://zoom.us/j/92643004231
These are duplicate sessions so please attend only one.
