Hello All, Applications for Fall 2020 Maine Public Library Fund (MPLF) grants are due by Friday, October 23 at 5 PM. MPLF grants of up to $5000 are available to public libraries to develop innovative programming for their communities. Though the review committee will consider all project proposals submitted for funding, this cycle, preference will be given to creative outreach services and virtual programming projects. For more info on eligible MPLF grants projects, go to https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/MPLF.shtml . Submit your grant application here https://form.jotform.com/deborahclark/mainepubliclibraryfund . (The form cannot be saved so it is recommended you prepare your question responses ahead of time and paste in all your answers when you are ready to submit the application form.) There is a webcast to help applicants write strong MPLF grant applications at https://my.nicheacademy.com/mslstaff/course/16812<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmy.nicheacademy.com%2Fmslstaff%2Fcourse%2F16812&data=02%7C01%7CDeborah.Clark%40maine.gov%7C9e19d88c4bb8434bf53908d86607f865%7C413fa8ab207d4b629bcdea1a8f2f864e%7C0%7C0%7C637371531697004543&sdata=4AHRg8O4StFRjbX%2Fdvq4%2FORwX452BZy3ZB0Gy%2Bml1cE%3D&reserved=0> I am available to consult with anyone developing an idea for a new or expanded library service they might want to propose for MPLF funding. I look forward to reviewing applications from our creative Maine libraries. Deb Clark, MPLF Grant program coordinator Deborah A.
