Hello MEEOA,

Fantastic news: LD 627 passed into law, which means that $10 million
dollars will be added to the State of Maine grant, overriding Governor
LePage's veto of the bill!

Many thanks to the TRIO community involved with these efforts, including
testimonials from former and current students and staff! There is power in
sharing our collective voice. Way to go, TRIO!

This increase is in addition to increased funding for the UMaine and
community college system, as well as $1 million in grants for the Put Me to
Work job-training program.

Hope you are all enjoying summer!
Have a wonderful 4th!

Kelly
