I wanted to let you know that the Legislature’s Commission to Study College
Affordability will be reporting their findings and recommendations to the
Education and Cultural  Affairs Committee on Wednesday at 1 pm in Room 202
of the Cross Building.  You can listen in on your computer via the link

Often I log into this link from my office to hear snippets of hearings as I
work.  I will be listening to this one in person, though – I’m optimistic
about many of their recommendations. I know that your group is pretty
looped in to policy issues, but if I see public hearings come up on any
higher ed access bills where testimony is solicited, I’ll be sure to flag
them well in advance for you.
