As mentioned at last week's energizing MEEOA Conference in Orono, the MEEOA
Executive Committee is accepting nominations of alumni to join the MEEOA
Team representing Maine at the 2017 COE Policy Seminar. Maine's
MEEOA-funded team will be comprised of MEEOA's President and
President-Elect plus two alumni to be selected by the MEEOA Executive
Committee at their meeting on February 2nd.

Please review the attached nomination materials and nominate alumni,
including MEEOA Achievers and Rising Stars, who would be effective
advocates for Maine's TRIO programs.

*Please email all nomination materials to Laurie Davis and Michelle
Richards no later than 4 p on Monday January 30.*

On a related note, it is not uncommon for other TRIO staff in addition to
the MEEOA-funded team to attend COE Policy Seminar and the Seminar on
Relations with the Department of Education. If you plan to attend Policy
Seminar or related activities please let me know so I can coordinate and
include you in Maine Team activities as appropriate.
