You can submit written testimony electronically to the clerk, Aida Gagnon
(I'll get you her email address when I'm on my laptop) - or, if you are
there in person, hand her 25 copies and ask to be added to the list to
approach the podium.  They limit you to three minutes.  It sure would be
great if you or a student could testify in some form.  :)

There will be a public hearing Monday at 1:00 pm, 202 Cross (Ed and
Cultural Affairs Committee) on the attached bipartisan bill to increase the
State of Maine Grant and add step increases for each year completed.  The
Governor’s budget proposes a $10 million dollar increase to the SoM Grant,
but this bill would be much farther reaching.  I plan to submit testimony.
I’d be pleased to share it with you in advance if you are interested
(should be drafted tomorrow) and would be pleased to take a look at yours
if you are inclined to offer testimony.
