COE will be launching a STEM Community of Practice in the coming months to
bring together TRIO professionals charged with inspiring and supporting
students’ aspirations to pursue courses of study that will lead to
satisfying STEM-related careers. We hope to initiate a vibrant community of
practice that, over time, will allow members to develop a body of common
knowledge, practices and approaches to STEM activities.

This webinar is with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
featuring MIT BLOSSOMS. In this pre-college focused webinar, MIT Professor
Richard Larson and BLOSSOMS Project Manager, Elizabeth Murray, will
introduce the program, explain how it can be used either in classrooms or
outside of a school setting, and demonstrate the ways in which BLOSSOMS
works to make STEM more engaging by encouraging active, collaborative
student learning.

Please go to www.coenet.us/trainings to register for this webinar.
