Just for interest as some are concerned about Maine underclassmen as
well as seniors transfering.
 
Maine junior forward-to-be Shawn Wansborough said in the Bangor Daily
News today that, "Even if I was a senior, I wouldn't consider
transferring.  I chose to go to Maine instead of several other
schools.  I wanted to go to Maine.  I knew there was a possibility
they could get into trouble even before I got there.  It's something
we'll have to deal with and we'll try to make the best of it."
 
These are refreshing comments from Wansborough in light of recent
events, but also postive in that Wansborough has been a scoring
leader for Maine and will be counted on heavily in 1997-8 to lead the
team both on and off the ice.
