Steve Kariya will move to center tonight against UNH. The former
left-winger has not played center since peewees (11-12 year olds) according
to the Bangor Daily News.

Kariya will center Cory Larose and Matt Oliver.

The coaching staff wants to move Kariya to center because as Standbrook said
in the paper this morning "The center is always only 10 to 15 feet away from
the puck."

Maine is trying to capitalize on Kariya's speed and playmaking ability.

Freshman Jim Leger will also see his first action of the year tonight.
