That doesn't matter.  Private emails are private.  Always.  I
would expect that if you did post on this list a private message,
you'd have the potential of being removed from the list.
 
And FWIW, I think your anger at Machnik is *totally* misguided.
 
You claimed *on the list* that what happened at UNH was a "scandal".
Machnik argued back *on the list* that it wasn't a scandal and that
he didn't respect it being labelled as such.
 
Whether a person agrees with that or not, it's a reasonable position
that someone could take, right or wrong.  I can see no reason for
your outrage.
