HOCKEY EAST KARHU PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ROB BECK, SR F, MERRIMACK
Beck (Flin Flon, MAN) scored three goals and added three assists in the
Warriors' weekend sweep of Boston College.  He scored two goals in Friday's
5-2 win and added another goal and three assists in Saturday's 11-5
victory.  Beck is tied for the lead in Merrimack scoring with 14 goals and
16 assists for 30 points in 29 games.
HONORABLE MENTION: Bill Pierce (F, Boston University); Jason Mansoff (D,
Maine); Eric Boguniecki (F, New Hampshire); Stefan Brannare (F, Providence).
 
HOCKEY EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CORY LAROSE, F, MAINE
Larose (Campbellton, NB) scored two goals and added four assists in the
Black Bears' weekend sweep of Mass Amherst.  Larose tallied two goals and
two assists in Friday's 6-4 win, earning the game's No. 1 star.  He has
totals of 10 goals and 24 assists for 34 points in 31 games this season,
tops among Hockey East rookies, and has been named Rookie of the Week twice
this season.

Mass Lowell); Sandy Cohen (F, Merrimack); Jason Shipulski (F, New
