HOCKEY EAST KARHU PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ERIC BOGUNIECKI, SR F, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Boguniecki (Wrst Haven, CT) scored two goals each night as the Wildcats
swept Mass Amherst in the Hockey East quarterfinals.  Boguniecki tallied a
power play goal each night and scored the game winner on Friday.  He ranks
fourth in overall scoring in Hockey East with 54 points on 24 goals and 30
assists in 33 games.
HONORABLE MENTION: Greg Taylor (G, Boston College); Matt Wright (F, Boston
University); Neil Donovan (F, Mass Lowell).
 
HOCKEY EAST ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
BLAKE BELLEFEUILLE, F, BOSTON COLLEGE
DAN LaCOUTURE, F, BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Bellefeuille (Framingham, MA) and LaCouture (Natick, MA) led their teams to
sweeps in the HEA quarterfinals.  Bellefeuille and LaCouture each scored
two goals and added three assists, as BC beat Merrimack in two games and BU
swept Northeastern.
HONORABLE MENTION: Greg Koehler (F, Mass Lowell); Jayme Filipowicz (D, New
Hampshire).
