I thought Murphy played a great game and if paired with some offensive
talent he would be a good set up man. He sees the ice well but with Greyeyes
and Lynch as linemates he isn't going to score much. No doubt Lynch was
trying to line guys up and make a statement with his body, hit a few and
missed a few, took a big one at the blue line with his head down. He had a
chance on a breakawy but couldn't hold his edge and went down. Looked
somewhat like a young Shaneberger. Good experiment if you ask me:) but might
take some time to get Paul used to playing forward.
Wayne mentioned better D on Marty. I guess draping a guy on him all night
is better D but to me its obstruction interference:). I've never seen Marty
say more to a ref in a game before so I guess he didn't like it much.
Nice to see Tommy Reimann come out of his funk as he made some quality
chances with nice passes.
Todd Jackson was great both games, one has to love the speed he has. It(the
speed) generates so many good chances, nice to see him cash a few in.
Props to the D also, Barnes, Deschamps and Ryan all carry the puck with
confidence even in traffic. Not enough can be said about the play of Nault,
the guy is just plain smooth. A joy to watch.

Off to Merrimack where Maine seems to have some problems, should be another
fun weekend of Maine hockey.
