Though it is true that UNH is 12 for 12 in penalty killing, it is not
indicative of their defense. A true measure of this (defense), is the SOG; I
believe Maine allowed 15 on their last contest. Look at the rest of Hockey
East for that stat and you will find that number tallied in most instances
within one period. Many out there should then admit which coach in this
league knows how to play......teach his players of the importance of a
strong defense.
 
Had the chance to watch the BU vs. Vermont game this past weekend (on the
tube here in the So part of the state.)  It is safe to say that Mr Parker
has some work cut out for him this season. The Terriers are a young team and
inexperienced but do follow Parkers' ethics with too few seniors to help
lead the way. Once the Catamounts started to smell blood, they went in for
the kill and there was little BU could do to stop them. The appearance of
'SASQUACH' in the arena couldn't help the BU defense either. Looked to me
like BU had only one good line.......
