HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CHRIS DRURY, JR C, BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Drury (Trumbull, CT) scored four goals, including his fourth collegiate hat
trick, to lead Boston University to a weekend sweep of UMass Amherst.
Drury scored a natural hat trick in the first game of the series and netted
the game-winning goal on both nights. The goal on Saturday night marked
the 100th point of Drury's career. He has 4-2--6 in four games.

HONORABLE MENTION: Brian Callahan (F, Boston College): three goals and two
assists in weekend split; Jason Mansoff (D, Maine): 1-3--4 in weekend sweep
of Alabama-Huntsville; Marc Salsman (F, UMass Lowell): three goals and two
assists in weekend split; Tom Nolan (F, New Hampshire): three goals and
three assists in UNH's sweep of Northeastern.

HOCKEY EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
GREG KOEHLER, FR F, UMASS LOWELL
Koehler (Scarborough, ONT) scored two goals and added two assists in a
weekend split with Boston College. Koehler scored the game-winner as part
of his effort on Friday night and was named the game's No. 1 star. He
leads all Hockey East rookies in league scoring with 2-4--6 in four games
and is tied for the lead in league scoring.

HONORABLE MENTION: Blake Bellefeuille (F, BC): scored goal in weekend
split; Cory Larose (F, Maine): goal and an assist in weekend sweep.

END

Koehler, who has already made an immediate splash in Hockey East, came to
UMass Lowell as a celebrity of sorts, as he was the focus of Episode 2 of
Ken Dryden's 1990 Canadian hockey documentary "Home Game" while playing for
the Toronto Marlboroughs junior team. Koehler will be "reunited" with
former Marlie teammate John Jakopin this weekend, as Jakopin captains
Merrimack which meets Lowell for a home-and-home clash. Jakopin also
appeared in Episode 2 of "Home Game".
