You could certainly allow youtube.com/teachers and block youtube.com;
the problem is that they don't actually separate the content under
those structures, so even if you allow youtube.com/teachers, all the
video links still go to youtube.com/watch?v=, and all the image links
on the page still point to other random URLs.

Only blocking or unblocking by subdomain is for HTTPS, for normal HTTP
the full specific URL can be used.

We've asked MECnet to work on this for the summer release of the
Joebox (next school year), and they are working on things like forcing
Youtube Safe Mode, and a way for MECguard to allow by referral which
should make this easier in the future.  Unfortunately, there isn't
much I can suggest now.
