There was an article in the local paper yesterday (that I haven't read).
The rumor mill has it that Matt signed for about a $75K bonus with
another $100K if he makes the team.  He had a fine summer of hockey and
would have been a (the?) stand-out college goalie this year.
 
Maine has some potential at goalie (Snow & Dunham) but I'm afraid, with
my perceived lack of defensive experience, we'll see more ups and downs
this year and higher scoring games.
