Okay, so call me a little slow on the uptake (I haven't wanted to link
to a press release since January), but I just realized that USCHO has
stopped archiving college hockey press releases as separate documents
and now only has them glommed together in the "Notes and Quotes"
section. I consider this to be a Bad Thing (TM). If I want to
include a link to the 1997 pre-season ECAC coaches' poll in a web
page, I can just link to
<http://www.uscollegehockey.com/pressreleases/ecac/1997/10/02.html>.
But this year, that release is on a page with all of the others. I
can use the named anchor to link to it as
<http://www.uscollegehockey.com/news/blurbs/notesquotes.html#mend1>,
but that doesn't seem like a very stable link, and not all of the
releases are anchored this way.

Anyone else maintain an archive of press releases (USA Today and ECAC
HockeyNet also meld all of the press releases together)? Or any
chance of USCHO going back to single-press-report pages? You'd think
it'd be so someone's advantage to do this, since it would generate
extra links to their site.
