What makes a coach a good coach? Judging by a few recent posts, the answer
is, a winning one. It doesn't matter how much his team has been a contender,
how much he straightened out a few hooligans and made hockey players out of
them. It's how many games he's won. Plain and simple. Well these same
people are calling for the firing of a coach who is 21st on the list of
winningest active coaches. You just can't please some people any of the
time.

By the way, since Yale has been in the ECAC basement more often than not in
the past seven years or so, does that mean Tim Taylor should have been fired
years ago? If he is so lousy, what is he doing coaching the olympic team
this year?
