Good Morning Everyone,
Mick Devine submitted the GeoLibrary Bond bill again for the GeoLibrary. It
has been rolled into LR2040 (attached)
This is important to the Boards ability to acquire and maintain
improvements to the states LiDAR data, continuance of the orthoimagery
program, updating Parcel maps and other opportunities for acquiring
geospatial data important to state and federal agencies, local communities
and counties!

These funds would d be leveraged by at least dollar for every dollar raised
in the GeoLibrary Bond. It is likely that it would be much more than that.
The recent orthoimagery and lidar projects are showing leverage of more
than six dollars for every GeoLibrary dollar invested.

Please contact your local senator and representative and urge them to
cosponsor this bill right away. This needs to be done as soon as possible
as we only have a short time to add co-sponsors.
It was issued on thursday the 28th and I think the window closes on
wednesday the third at the latest!

Please hurray!

Joe Young
