Join us for GIS Day

The City of Portland Hosts GIS Day Nov. 22nd

Join the Maine GIS User Group and the City of Portland for GIS Day November
22nd.  This is a fun and educational half day event at City Hall in
Portland, Room 24 from 9am to 12pm. Presenters from USM, NOAA, the City of
Auburn and the City of Portland will share their experiences in utilizing
GIS in their work projects.  Here is the morning's agenda:

9:30-9:50 A GIS and Agent-based Model of Flood Evacuation in

Seoul, South Korea and its applicability to Portland, ME

10:00-10:20 Measuring Low-Stress Bicycle Network Connectivity in NH

11:00-11:20 How to use GIS to Manage the Marijuana Licensing Process

11:30-12:00 Managing Sidewalk and Pavement Data
