We have a few quick updates and requests...
1. This Tuesday at noon, join us for a virtual lunch & learn event with Firooza Pavri of the Muskie School of Public Service at USM. She'll talk about her use of NASA Landsat and MODIS imagery in recent projects in Iceland and Greenland. Firooza's talks are always informative and engaging: don't miss this one! RSVP via https://megug.org/event-4494981
2. Elections for the MEGUG board are soon and we have open seats! Members: please consider contributing to MEGUG by running for the board. Contact our Nominating committee chair, Jeff Normandin, at [log in to unmask] to nominate yourself or another member.
3. Save the date for our annual business meeting, to be held November 16 at 12 PM. (I know: yay, another meeting. So we'll sweeten the deal with prizes!)
4. Please take our ONE-question survey: we haven't met in person in over 18 months now. What have you been up to? We'd like to share some highlights at our annual meeting. Testing a new drone? Using some historic imagery? Spinning up lots of new servers? Learning basket weaving? LET US KNOW! https://arcg.is/00955f
See you soon,
