Ken,
Please give him my contact information (below). I'd like to know the level of training he desires.

Subject: Re: GIS Training

All,

I have a local Community Planner that would like to avail himself of some level of GIS training. Is anyone aware of any offerings in the near future.

Subject: WMS update

The MEGIS/GeoLibrary 'orthos' WMS now contains the statewide 1996-1998 black-and-white 1 meter orthophotos from USGS. These are the 'original' DOQQs, and this marks the first time that the northwestern portion of Maine is available.
This is the same URL as for the NAIP data:
http://geolibportal.maine.gov/wms/mapserv.exe?map=c:/wms/orthos.map&
Interesting to compare these to the NAIP data 10 years later.
For more details, see the GeoLibrary web page http://www.maine.gov/geolib.
