Good Morning All,
Hopefully you have better things to do with your weekends but if you don't
I thought I would share this.
While surfing for something to entertain me I found the answer to some of
the most perplexing geography questions that I am sure you have always
wondered about?
Where are the most unusual borders in the world?
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YPzfbZH-Ao>
It's a 20 minute video that shows in some cases weird configurations that
come about because of circumstances that just get embedded over time. They
really don't make sense but well it seems to be working and we really don't
want to make a change.

The GeoLibrary strategic plan development is in its final stages with a
review by the board scheduled for its next meeting. Once adopted we will
see if The GeoLibrary remains an artifact of history or if it is the
beginning of a hopefully positive change as a repository of geographic data
and a proactive force for maintaining a program for maintaining statewide
geographic data of importance to all of us.

We will be counting on you, our stakeholders and supporters to help us
bring about that positive change.

In the meantime enjoy the video.

Respectfully,

Joe Young
