There are two dates of importance to Orono school arts this week:

TONIGHT, Monday April 27, at 7:00pm there will be a meeting of the Orono Schools Coalition for the Arts in the vestry of the Church of Universal Fellowship on Main St. (Enter via the door around the corner on Juniper St.) If you care about our
community's arts students, faculty, and programs, please attend and find out how each of us can play a role!

Friday, May 1 is the deadline for all Orono Schools Coalition for the Arts Scholarship applications. Applications must be submitted to the Red OSCAr folder in your school office by close of school that day. Application forms are available from
all arts teachers, from each school's front office, and at OHS may also be printed in the guidance office. Only complete applications will be considered, so be sure any necessary signatures are included and that graduating students have obtained
the necessary teacher recommendations.
And a reminder: If your child (or a child you know) is applying for an arts scholarship, please consider "paying it forward" by pitching in as an OSCAr volunteer! Come to the April 27 meeting to find out how you can help!
