While collecting shoes to send to poor people in other countries seems like
a generous and kind way to help them, the growing consensus is that there
are a range of impacts of this practice.  The article below provides
suggestions on how to proceed.  Can whoever has organized this project
provide the types of information this journalist has suggested be
considered when doing this type of project?
