The image is apropos. The molehill exists on the surface. But what is
underneath (perhaps--- dare I say it?--- in the unconscious) is more
interesting. But like what is underneath, people miss it, or choose to
ignore it; or ----AND THIS IS EVEN MORE COMMON,--- they are aware of it, but
they choose consciously to ignore it.

I have proposed a modest suggestion, a mere hint at what MIGHT lie
underneath Pound’s conscious advocacy of fascism. So far, a few list
members have rejected it, but without supplying an alternative theory of the
Pound’s psychic makeup which could be used to explain this, or any other
aspect of Pound’s theory. Those who do reject it may want to lend futher
credibility to their positions by fleshing out their opinions.

only a few members? perhaps I'm wrong -- after all, wei has said everyone is
wrong from time to time -- but I haven't noticed ANY support for the
MOLEecular level of wei's thesis that Pound was not a mole but a rat! yet in
a characteristic expulsion of hot air, wei now takes us on a tour of an
imaginary mole hole which he likens to Pound's unconscious while
simultaneously making the claim that NO ONE has offered an alternative view.
this claim will no doubt come as a surprise to those (foolish, in my opinion)
who're been debating wei over Pound's motives for the past months -- although
it's true that none of them has been so arrogant as to lay claim to an
understanding of Pound's unconscious motives, no doubt because they do not
feel competent to do so. as has been remarked on before, wei doesn't bother
himself with such restrictions, as they are too restrictive on his
unconscious need to expel himself from every orifice. but I want to go on
record now as saying unequivocally that neither Freud or Jung ever referred
to the unconscious as the subterranean mole hole.
