Dear Alan,

I was struggling with the same issue until a bulb came on to someone I had wailed about it. It's just that Trenitalia has not published the summer timetables yet.
You'll be able to see the schedules if you search for your journey within the current month. The times won't be much different.
There are lots of trains going north from Venice. You'll have to change twice, in Verona and Bolzano, but the whole travel time is around three hours and a half. I guess we'll all be reduced to purchasing the tickets at the station.

Best,
Roxana

Subject: Brunnenburg travel

Dear colleagues,

Sorry to burden the list with such a mundane concern, but: can anyone who's attending the EPIC in Brunnenburg tell me why Trenitalia keeps telling me there are no trains between Venice and Merano on Tues. 7/7 or between Merano and Milan on Sun. 7/12 or Mon. 7/13? "No travel solution found" is the message I keep getting. I'm totally stymied. Looking forward to the conference if I can get there!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Alan Golding
