Dear fellow Poundians:

I would like to remind all those of you who will be attending the 115th
MLA Annual Convention in Chicago that they should consider
attending the following sessions:
(i) 17A: “Ezra Pound and Prosody” (Monday, 27 December, 3:30-4:45 p.m.
[not 5:15-6:30 p.m. as listed on page 1233 of the program], San Francisco,
Hyatt Regency; and
(ii) 292: “Ezra Pound’s Tribalisms” (Tuesday, 28 December, 1:45-3:00 p.m.,
Ogden, Hyatt Regency).

Just before Session 17A begins, Dr. Burton N. Hatlen will be announcing
the winner of the first annual Ezra Pound Prize.

As most of you know by now, Dr. Stephen J. Adams and I are working
on an Ezra Pound Encyclopaedia for Greenwood. There are a few entries
that remain unassigned, and we would be glad to speak to anyone who
wishes to be considered for one of these. Both Dr. Adams and I will be
attending the MLA Convention: I am chairing the first session
mentioned above, and he is presenting one of the papers.

With best wishes and season’s greetings,

Demetres P. Tryphonopoulos
