Dear ACTEM friends,

Recently, the Maine Education Policy Research Institute (MEPRI) at the University of Southern Maine sent out a survey to Maine principals and technology support staff to gather information regarding the MLTI program. If you are in a technology leadership role and have not been contacted it may be because our lists are incomplete. The survey asks you to answer some questions about your experience with the MLTI program related to your position as a Principal, Technology Integrator, Technology Support Specialist, or other leadership role in an MLTI school. This survey will provide relevant information how on MLTI technology is being used and the benefits and challenges in the MLTI implementation in your school. We hope that you will take the time to share your expertise in this short online survey by following this link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MLTI2014TechLeaders

We hope that you will take a few minutes to answer the short online survey. Your views about MLTI are important and will help frame future policy and practice; several of these items have been added at the request of the Education committee of the legislature and the Commissioner. All data will be reported out as group averages and your school's identity will not be linked to any of the information in our reports. The research team will report its findings to the Maine Department of Education and to the state legislative committee on Education and Cultural Affairs.

Please forward this survey to any Technology Integrator, Technology Support Specialist, or other individuals with a technology leadership role in your school who may not have received the request.

Thank you for your participation. If you have any questions, please e-mail the evaluation team at the information below.

Sincerely,
Amy Johnson
Assistant Director
