Brian's weekend preview suggests...
>HARVARD
>The 19-3-2 (16-2-2 ECAC) Crimson have little to play for
>as they've wrapped up the ECAC's regular season title. The Crimson
>got upset last weekend at 8th place Dartmouth showing that they
>are ripe for the picking.
Harvard might be driven to hand out a couple of spankings this weekend to make
up for the loss of ground for the NC$$ seeding that occured by losing last
weekend. Last year they were regular season champs and that wasn't enough for
an NC$$ bid - so they're unlikely to uncaringly coast through the weekend, and
risk other teams closing the gap between first and second...
Granted, this year is different from last year in that the Crimson are farther
ahead of the other eleven ECAC teams (last year there was a one point gap
between 1st and 3rd place), but if they blow a few games and again sputter in
the playoffs, all bets for an NC$$ bid may be off...
