Dartmouth beat Princeton Saturday afternoon, 4-3, in the Tiger's third
straight OT game. Princeton dug themselves into a 3-0 hole in the first.
They fought back to tie the game at three in the third, and the game
went into OT. Dartmouth took the opening face-off, skated into the Tiger
zone, and someone flipped a soft shot towards goal. Fiander reached out
to glove it, but it hit his thumb and bounced in, giving Dartmouth their
second OT win of the year over Princeton a mere 14 seconds into OT. The
game winning shot should have been easily handled; one post game report
said "on a scale of one to ten, the shot was about a minus one."
