J. Micheal,

I'm not sure whether you are talking about hockey, a sense of community,
local ambiance or restaurants? Plastic is a relative and subjective term. I
have no idea what you mean. You did leap from denigrating comments about
community and newspaper readership in your first post to topics totally
unrelated to hockey (but related to your dislike for MN), in your second
post.

I do feel that there is a unique and strong sense of community throughout the
Twin Cities.

P.S. It's obvious that MN leaves you less than cozy.. hockey, food or
otherwise. As for eating, check out the restaurant sections of the two
popular Minnesota magazines. They're full of exceptional places to eat. Even
Lunds and Byerleys, although just supermarkets, their restaurants have great
home-style food.
Taste of Minnesota is great. Ooops!

Maybe you should move.
