        McDonough is not a bad play-by-play man. He started with the Red
Sox on WSBK, and can now be heard doing baseball on CBS and college
basketball on ESPN. But, to my knowledge (growing up in Boston), he
doesn't do *any* hockey. He has never been affliated with the Bruins
broadcasts on WSBK, and the only time I saw him mentioned in the same breath
with college hockey was when he tried to be a ref for a day at a B.U.
practice. (Between period filler for a Bruins game).
 
        I guess what I'm asking is why he's on the committee? Has he been
involved in college hockey and did I just miss it?
