Sorry about not posting the alternatives to Cornell's pay-to-listen
men's hockey webcasts for the past few games; this weekend will
actually be the first Big Red men's ice hockey action since November
that I haven't seen in person.
Friday's game against Union is supposed to be on WRUC:
http://wruc.union.edu/
Here is their "Listen Page":
http://wruc.union.edu/Listen_to_WRUC.html
It says you need RealOne (the free player will do), but I was able to
get some sort of feed by entering the address:
rtsp://wruc.union.edu:554/encoder/wruc.rm
into my RealPlayer 8.0 for Unix. However, the feed was dead air when I
checked Thursday morning. Someone who doesn't have to cripple their
computer to turn it into a Windoze box might want to check on this
feed with a RealOne player.
Saturday's game at RPI will be on WRPI:
http://www.wrpi.org/
Their RealAudio page is here:
http://www.wrpi.org/realaudio/
And this is a direct link to their feed.

Of course, as anyone who's tried to listen to ECAC broadcasts in the
past five years knows, WRPI's feed works just fine.
