While I am all in favor of eliminating the two-line pass, I am afraid of the
"Law of Unexpected Consequences". IF the NHL eliminates the two-line pass,
what will be the consequence?

Will it be more wide open play?
or
Will teams be so scared of getting beat by the bomb that they play 4 guys in
the neutral zone and suffocate the long pass?

I'm thinking that coaches will want to protect their fannies and pack the
neutral zone. If you think the NHL is dull now, watching a 1-4 all evening
will be like watching the 4 corners offense in basketball.
