I attended the Minnesota-MTU series this weekend.  While I've seen chippier
games than those, I can safely say that the members of neither team played
like gentlemen.  ;-)

I don't believe that the radio talk shows are reliable sources of
information.
 
I'm certainly not convinced that anyone officially connected with the
Minnesota and North Dakota hockey programs would be happy to lose one of
the remaining original members of the WCHA.  Tech is one of Minnesota's
oldest rivals -- they've been playing each other since the early 1920's.
Also, they had that run in the mid-70's when they traded the WCHA and NCAA
titles back and forth.
 
Count me among those fans who would prefer to see Tech stay in the WCHA,
where they belong.
