Pierre Belanger has been hated by Brown fans for a long time, but
particularly since the 1993-94 season, when he appeared to be on a
vendetta against Brown defenseman Mike Traggio. Pierre was not allowed
to referee Brown games for a couple of years after making a call that
cost Brown a game in the winter of 1994.
 
The ECAC has many awful referees, but Pierre is the worst.
