I think Bill Fenwick will see and respond to this, but in my past
conversations with him . . .
  The teams are reseeded (10 vs 1 8 vs 2) and I believe he had an
example from the past - though he went on to say they were still
referred to by their initial rank (i.e. 8 and 10).
 
  Aahh, now Bill has to respond to refute my memory.
 
  I have posted playoff pairing and tie-breaking rules in the past so it
should be someplace inthe archives - maybe it is time to repost.
