The No. 4 Penn State Icers picked up two big wins over top-ranked
Michigan-Dearborn last weekend, 6-5 and 7-5. Penn State has now defeated
Dearborn nine straight games.

Both games were exciting seesaw contests, but Saturday's game was called at
15:29 of the third period. Dearborn coach Joe Aho was ejected from the
game at 13:03 for pelting the refs and the Penn State bench with water
bottles as a protest against the officiating. The refs were brutal, but
called the game equally poorly for both teams. Dearborn jumped a couple of
Icers at 15:29, leading the refs to just end the contest.

Dave Raymer was the leading scorer for Penn State, with four goals and
three assists on the weekend.

I'll post the new rankings when I get them.
