Boston -- Boston University scored twice at the beginning of the
third period to wash out a 3-1 University of Maine lead Sunday
night at BU's Walter Brown Arena, to salvage a tie with the Black
Bears. The Terriers then outscored the Black Bears 3-0 in a
shootout after a scoreless overtime, to gain two points in the
Hockey East standings. Maine receives one point.

With exception to the game's first goal, scored by BU, all goals
were scored on power plays.

Three of the game's six goals were scored during 5-on-3s, and two
goals were scored during 5-on-4s.

Maine is 0-0-2 in HE with two points, while BU is 0-0-1 with two
points.
