ESPN/college coverage comments:
Not to nitpick, but ESPN and ESPN would not have to "send a crew" for any
college games. Both use contracted production crews (local to the broadcast
site) for all hockey sportscasts, therefore, cost is not a reason for not
broadcasting the college games.
The most important questions is, how can ESPN even consider replays of ANY
games to be more exciting than live games, college or otherwise?!?
As for Kenny Morrow, he coached the Las Vegas Flash Roller Hockey
International team this past summer. I have an interview with him that I
could pass along if anyone is interested. He is also still scouting for the
NY Isles. Still the only player to win an Olympic Gold and a Stanley Cup ring
in the same season
