For the record, as one of those dedicated Maine fans, I hate those "blue
and white clapping things" with a passion.  They were just starting to
show up when I left for school.  I remember spending one whole game
glaring at the guy behind me who couldn't stop clapping the little blue
and white hands together.  And I was on HIS side.  I can't imagine how it
is to the opponents.  Are the clappers really that prevalent now?  I went to
two games last year and I didn't notice them...
