Here is a brief look at some tournament statistics that I compiled from the
Hockey-L archives.  I haven't seen anyone post anything like this so here is
my copy. Any and all mistakes should be dutifully reported to your local
Better Statistics Bureau office (ok, me.)
 
Symbols:  T = Titles               FA = Finals Appearances
          FFA = Frozen Four App    TA = Tournament Appearances
          SF = SemiFinals          QR = Quarterfinals
          FR = First Round         First = First Title
          Last = Last Title        A = Appeared in 1994 Tournament
 
1st, 2nd, SF, QR, and FR refer to how many times a team finished a season
at that level in the tournament.  I did not include consolation games that
were played up to 1989?, I believe.
