Story heard on WCCO (Minneapolis) radio this morning:
 
Jeff Calinan, the Gophers starting goalie, and 2 other young men, are
being charged with felony theft for alledgedly stealing a 35ft inflatable
chicken from the House of Moi restaurant in Mound, MN.  The incident
occurred in December.  He will start tonight in Milwaukee however.
 
The radio report was very brief, and basically blew the whole thing off as
just a prank by some kids.  What do you suppose they wanted with a 35ft
inflatable chicken anyway? Maybe they knew a real live 35ft chicken that
was feeling a little lonely? :)
