1) A third ECAC team would be nice but the numbers make the case for the way
the committee did their job.

2) BC's complaining about being shipped out west I have this to say, maybe
you should have worked harder against some of the weaker teams on your
schedule and things like this wouldn't happen. You can't just turn it on
for 2 weeks and expect the world.

3) Eastern Regional draw is great. I am psyched to see 3 games involving
western teams. Viewing nothing but HE and ECAC for most of the winter the
change is nice and unpredictable.

4) I do not think that the attendance at the East Regional will be affected
negatively with the absence of BC. The only seats available for Friday
through Ticketmaster were upper deck. Saturday I was able to get center ice
on the lower level. Odd, huh! With Maine, UNH and Clarkson on Saturday I
think the building will be 2/3 to 3/4. Half of the Fleet Center crowd of
13,000 or so were UNH fans by the noise level. No reason to think that more
of them don't make the trip to Worcester. Clarkson fans are road warriors.
They will bring more than their share considering the size of the school.
If Maine is in on Saturday they will bring their normal strong following.
Add in season ticket holders with nothing to do from BU, Harvard, NU, PC,
UML, Merrimack, Holy Cross, BC and Brown all within about an hour drive.
The prospects for this regional are very good in my opinion!

5) I know this is the wrong list but how about Middlebury win their 5th
straight DIII title! Why can't we get a legitimate DIII program to move up
to DI in the East?

First off, only seats available through Ticketmaster last week were upper
deck. Lower levels are offered through NCAA first and then reserved for
schools to sell second.
