I just want to back Adam up on this very critical point.  Coaches
often have a tough time after the top 5 or 6 even and I absolutely
agree with Adam that they would not be crazy about picking more than
that.

It waters down a poll to have more than 10.  Who would want to "brag"
about being Top 20 with a .500 or below record??  You may be #20, but
you are still a mediocre team.  There is a certain prestige to being
Top 10 and it should stay that way.
